John is originally from Sheffield and has been in business for over 30 years, 20 of those in the Lincolnshire area. Initially in the recruitment business, he has been actively involved in supplying staff to factories and offices. The move into Contract cleaning came about almost by accident, as the company cleaning his own offices were becoming unreliable and the quality of work was slipping. John felt that if he was having problems with cleaners, others were probably in the same boat and as he had recently met Rick, decided to start a business together where maintaining a quality service was to be the priority. Communication is vital to a company’s success and John likes to ensure that all clients, whether big or small companies, receive regular visits from him and Rick along with weekly checks on the quality of the cleaning.

Rick has worked in a number of positions from Gardner, Pet Sitter, dog walker to Industrial Cleaner, always giving 100% to the work he was undertaking. His philosophy has always been that if he does a good job at a keen price, customers will keep coming back with repeat business. Ricks biggest qualities are, being Hardworking and enthusiastic and he brings his infectious enthusiasm to every job he undertakes. Rick and John met when Rick was looking after John’s animals and impressed John with the excellent way he dealt with the job. Finding out that Rick had considerable experience as a supervisor for an industrial cleaning company seemed too good an opportunity to miss so invited Rick to start Blitz Cleaning together.
